Team Purge Rules for Competitions
Purpose:
Set up Rules and Regulations concerning TPRG Competition Squads to compete in various Games, such
as, BC2, COD Black Ops and Battlefield 3 for Team Match Play. The overall appearance to the rest of the
world is important to the Founders of the Clan and any behavior within or without the Clan, which is
detriment to the Reputation of the Clan will be taken seriously. Members should consider their personal
actions as a reflection of the Clan as a whole.
TPRG Definition of Team Squad Play:
A team comprises a group of people linked in a common purpose. Teams are especially appropriate for
conducting tasks that are high in complexity and have many interdependent subtasks. A group in itself
does not necessarily constitute a team. Teams normally have members with complementary skills and
generate synergy through a coordinated effort which allows each member to maximize his/her
strengths and minimize his/her weaknesses. Team members need to learn how to help one another,
help other team members realize their true potential, and create an environment that allows everyone
to go beyond their limitations.
Players who work together in communications, chemistry and tactics unselfishly will succeed. There is a
difference between Pubbing and Match Play in Competition. If you are only concerned with your K/D
ratio this is not for you. The purpose is to play at a high level while having fun. Overall things might not
go as well as you would like it, but we are at the beginning stages of building and your Patience will be
required with Yourself and Other Members of the Clan involved.
TPRG Comp Team Rules/ Ethics:
*Show up on time
*Absolutely No Arguing in any form with other Clan Members or Squad Members before, during and after Match.
Game Play:
*Committed to Squad Team Play (We are not looking for LONE RANGERS or LONE WOLFS)
*Must follow direction of Leaders during matches
*Any issues needing to be discussed will be done with two (2) TPRG Match Admins Present.
(See Below for appropriate Game Admins)
*Opinions and Ideas of strategy and/or tactics are to be discussed during practice, before or after Match
Play, not during the Match.
*Backbiting and blatant undermining of Squads or Administrators set in place by TPRG Administrators or
Founders will not be tolerated. No Exceptions!
*Mutual Respect of everyone involved. Understand there may be something going on you Just Don't
Know About!
*Players must have good sportsmanship with other Teams, that means sportsman‐like conduct
*When giving criticism, give constructive criticism to build up not tear down members. Demeaning
other players and members will not be tolerated!
*NO Hacking Period!
Consequences:
Any Player showing up late or not attending practice during any given week cycle will forfeit Match Play
right. Match Play cycle starts Monday at 7CST for any given week. Matches are scheduled for Wed nights
at 9CST. Members belonging to TPRG Leagues who cannot for reason of work or emergencies are to
contact Admins associated with particular Game type and League in advance that the squads can
prepare for any given match.
A three strike rule will be in place. Failure to follow guidelines will result in the disqualification of any
given player to play in seasonal leagues. Leagues go through cycles, such as TWL. Re‐admittance to any
given Competition Squad will be allowed after the season ends. There are No Exceptions!
Any and all are invited to practice. The purpose of TPRG is to allow members to grow and improve game
play abilities. This is the beginning of laying a foundation in place to build upon. We ask all members to
be patient as we put in place various levels of Squads together based on Interests, Chemistry,
Communication ability and Level of Game Play ability.
Anyone interested in playing at competition level who are willing to follow the Criteria in place are
invited to attend at 8CST on Monday, the beginning of any given week to the
appropriate TS3 Channel. Any questions you may have will be addressed.
This document was planned and implemented by the founders of the TPRG Clan and was
decided to be done to benefit the Clan as a whole. The founders approve this document, and
ask that following TPRG Clan members understand the underlying intent of the criteria provided
within this document.
